The Plumsted Township Education Association (PTEA) represents close to 200 members, including teachers, secretaries, and paraprofessionals in the Plumsted Township School District.

The PTEA upholds the contracts the association negotiates with the board of education and advocates for its members’ professional rights.

In addition, the PTEA supports many projects and activities that benefit our schools, students, and community. Through the NJEA Pride program, we have funded numerous activities for our students and community.

Studies show that strong professional associations such as the PTEA effectively advocate for their students and communities. School districts with strong professional associations like the PTEA also have better educational outcomes for students.

We are proud of the work we do in Plumsted and we are proud to be a strong partner in public education!
